What are slideshows in Just-Snips?

Slideshows are based on a PowerSearch. They display the matching assets in a PowerSearch to a slot in the app.

Displaying Multiple Assets

There are several layout options for a slideshow. Some are only available when there is enough space.
Oh, animations play, of course.

Projection Slots

There are several slots available to project into:

  • Local WEST: to the left on the library page
  • Local EAST: to the right on the library page
  • Local FULL: fills the library page
  • Global WEST: on the left of the app
  • Global EAST: on the right of the app
  • Global SOUTH: on the bottom of the app
  • Global FULL: filling the app window
  • Windows Lockscreen: replace the lockscreen background
  • Windows Desktop: replace the desktop background

Layout Options!

You can pick from several options for the slideshow layout:

  • Billboard: One Asset in all its full slot filling glory
  • Panels: Several assets in a grid, all the same size
  • Leader Panel: The first asset gets 1/3 of the space, the rest in a grid
  • Mosaic: Four columns for 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 assets stack vertically
Some of these are only available in the bigger slots.

Fine Tuned Appearance

A slideshow can be configured to your liking:

  • How the slideshow page is shown
  • How the assets are shown
  • How long each slideshow page is shown
  • How many assets there are
