Quickly work with Bitmaps and Texts

Just-Snips enables you to take any text or bitmap from the clipboard or your drive(s),
modify it, organize it, and copy it back to the clipboard quickly..

Import a bitmap from the clipboard and quickly crop it into shape before storing it in a library.

Grab any text (TXT, RTF, HTML, SVG) and store it in your library, too.

Make changes to your assets: crop, flip, resize, bitmap filters, MIME conversion.

Assign meta data and comments to any of those "assets". Give 'em tags. Search the whole lot.

Assign a keyboard shortcut or an app icon menu item that will copy an asset back into the clipboard.

Your clipboard is private until you tell the app to look at it. No constant looking over your shoulder, like other clipboard managers.

What to do with that?

Keep things like phone numbers, emails, and other snippets of important text ready for use.

Need logos etc? Just place them in a library and heave them into the clipboard with a keystroke.

Just-Snips is only local, there is no sharing into "the clould". Everything you do is private.

Managing Digital Assets

Just-Snips enables you to efficiently grab any bitmap or text from the clipboard or your drive(s) and load them into your own asset libraries.

Import assets like bitmaps or text from the clipboard or any location Windows can access.

Organize those assets into multiple libraries. Give them names, descriptions, meta tags, and comments.

Funnel imports into a specific library to minimize import effort.

Detect duplicate assets when importing new ones.

Modify them with build-in filters or editors. You can also use other applications as editors. Convert file formats.

Clone assets and modify those clones, retaining the original. Show the "family tree" of cloned assets and their original.

Fuzzy Search by name, description, tag, owner, dates, color, location, and even contents (in case of text).

Add more than one asset to clipboard by using FilesExport.
Export assets into zip archives.

Every asset has a thumbnail (of configurable size). No downloading, everything is local, and fast.

What to do with that?

Manage your digital photos locally instead of sharing them into the cloud.

Quickly grab interesting content off your browser and store it locally. Cropping is easy.

Work with assets, keeping the original to return to.

Making Memes

Just-Snips enables you turn your assets into memes very quickly.

Import clips from the clipboard and crop them into shape before either sending them back to the clipboard or creating a Snip.

Turn a clip into a Snip to annotate and collate several clips into one cohesive story.
Name, describe the Snip, tag it and mark it as your work.

You don't have to use the clipboard contents right away. Just-Snips will keep those bitmaps for a few days.

Take multiple views of the bitmaps in a Snip so you can work on different perspective.
Each view can have its own set of annotations and comments, tied to the author.

How about using Just-Snips to document defects in user interfaces?
You can take a number of screenshots, annotate them and share the Snip with the developers.

Export and Import Snips as single files. You can also share a Snip, which locks down all changes after each share.
Support for sharing a Snip is a paid feature.

Export the views of a Snip as bitmaps (JPEG, PNG or GIF), with or without comments.
Support for exporting more than one Snip at once is a paid feature.

Set the size and quality of the bitmap export to standard paper sizes so you can print them.

How about using Just-Snips for scrapbooking?
You can take all the images of a story and place them into the views (aka pages).

Keep libraries of bitmaps so you can use the same images all the time, great for branding, decorations or embellishments.

How about creating a gallery of family pictures?
You can add photos as you go along and then turn them into a page per week or month.

Use Visual Branding to tie your Snip to a specific brand. The logo will appear in the app and in exported bitmaps.
Support for branding is a paid feature.
