Organizing
When one Library is not enough

Types of Libraries

App Libraries
Most libraries you will create a App Libraries. They are stored within the App and are directly managed by it.
External Libraries
You can also create a library that is based on a Windows Folder. As assets can be added or removed, this Library checks every time you open it whether its asset population has changed.
It does support the same level of Meta Data and interactions like an App Library.
Snip Libraries
All Snips are based on a special version of the App Library. All Snips are stored within the app to ensure that their assets cannot be tempered with./dd>
System Libraries
These are libraries that are provided with the app. You will not be able to change them, only look at them. Some can be used to base your own libraries on a copy of them.
The system library might work with the most is Clips, the standard recipient of imported assets.

Using the Folder Tree

All Libraries, Snips, and PowerSearches are placed in the Folder Tree, as shown to the left.
You can create folders and sub-folders and place any of those tree items into them. Each folder also supports its own sorting criteria, and a tree-wide sort.

New Item
You can add a new App Library, a new External Library, a Snip, a PowerSearch, or a new sub-folder in the folder.
Selection
You can select none, all or certain types of items in the folder. You can perform batch operations on those selected items.
State
You can mark any item including a folder as a favorite to place it on top of the list. You can also hide any item (you can forcebly show hidden items).
For Libraries, you can force their initialization on start to make oopening them faster (but that slows down startup)...
Move
You can an item up or down in the folder structure or create a new subfolder with it inside.
Rename
You can rename an item.
Delete
You can permanently delete non-system items. System items are Home and Clips.
